Through close cooperation between MINE (as lead partner), Lund university, Copenhagen university, Øresundsinstituttet and Foreningen Norden i Danmark, will conduct the Fördomsfönster Öresund projekt. The project is co-financed by Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak. This means that MINE can continue to create a more inclusive labor market and also convey jobs to foreigners in the Öresund region.
The focus of the project is to increase the boundary limit by facilitating foreign-born jobseekers to settle in the labor market in the neighboring country. In this way, their skills and resources can be utilized.
The projekt Fördomsfönster Öresund is aimed at two target groups: employers and jobseekers in the Öresund region. Employers are both companies and organizations and are divided into two different subdivisions to adapt planned activities to the needs of the different segments. During the course of the project, Danish employers will employ foreign-born Swedish / second-generation immigrants and be a starting point for understanding what loopholes and other barriers exist in and between Sweden and Denmark.
